BioJust the Facts
I am from Oregon where I've lived all of my life. I am 34 and a graduate from the school of Journalism at the University of Oregon.
I love movies, TV, scrapbooking, cats (black & Siamese cats especially), my ipod, and Robert Pattinson. I also have an extreme liking for Lilo & Stitch and if anyone gives me a Stitch-related thing, I'm their friend for life. For some reason, I have a huge affinity for cats. I have one tortoiseshell/Siamese named Dinah. I've tried to adopt almost every stray I've ever found without success, so I'm staying with the 1 cat. My taste in TV and movies can change from day to day, but mostly I like comedies, dramas and romances. I am the biggest sucker for a "chick flick." My favorite movie of all time is a true "chick flick" - While You Were Sleeping.
My first love is and always will be writing. I feel like I'm always in my writer head and coming up with stories or fun phrases to use somewhere someday. Although I try to concentrate on my own stuff, I dabble in fanfiction quite a bit. I've written for so many fandoms I'm not sure I can name them all now. More notably: Moonlighting, Buffy/Angel, Quantum Leap, X-Files, and Twilight. Right now I'm really into RPF and love writing Robert/Kristen.
Outside of fanfiction, I participate every November in National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) and for 1 month I write my own stuff. Some people write FF for this, but I refuse. This is the one month I force myself to work on my own ideas. Someday I hope to write something publishable. I usually post the link to my profile at the nano site so people can check up on what I'm doing.
Another passion I have is making graphics or LJ icons. I do share what I've made and am starting to get back into this again after a lengthy absence.
